CSW GeoMIS.Sachsen Das GeoMIS.Sachsen dient zur Publikation und Bereitstellung von Metadaten zu Geodaten, Geodatendiensten und Anwendungen. Als Suchmaschine schafft das GeoMIS.Sachsen die informationstechnischen Voraussetzungen für den Zugriff auf die Geoinformationsressourcen regionaler, kommunaler und organisationsweiter Geodateninfrastrukturen. Das GeoMIS.Sachsen ist ein Hauptbestandteil der Geodateninfrastruktur im Freitstaat Sachsen. Es bietet den zentralen Zugang zu sächsischen Metainformationen, die entweder zentral im GeoMIS.Sachsen eingepflegt oder dezentral vorgehalten werden können.
